Optima XM6 burglar alarm

Hi
I have a Optima XM6 burglar alarm & it's been working fine for a number of years.

We had a power cut yesterday & the power button (normally in green) is now red, the keypad won't repsond at all & I have checked the fuse, & the smaller fuses on the inside.
Can you help?

Remove all power , mains and battery , then power up mains first.Enter your code to stop the alarm sounding,replace battery , close lid and reset...Beware of mains voltage within the panel.
