I am having an outdoor floodlight fitted and I was wondering whether I could use the same hole in the wall to push through my cat 6 cable which I will use to connect a POE camera.

Or are you not supposed to run cat 6 cables next to power cables? So I need a new hole drilling?

Golden rule
Not not mix mains 230v A/C with low voltage d/c .This will cause induced voltage.

So I will drill an extra hole.

I have kept the power and ethernet cables apart but in one instance they have crossed. Will that be problematic?

Cross is ok, it’s when they are run alongside one another issues may arise
