Too vague, would need make and fixing type at least, threaded base etc.?
Sorry for the delay and thanks for your reply. We have now taken a measurement and the diameter of the shade is 25 1/2 inches and the diameter of the hole which goes over the bulb is 3 inches. It is a screw fit. Don't mind if it is clear or opaque.

I'm not sure by any means, but I'd guess that different makes won't be the same, unless you just happen to be lucky.
