Many thanks

Not a very sharp picture.
Can you take one in focus and closer to the unit?
We need to see the end of the wire and the possible positions it could go to.

Thanks for reply is this any better? sorry phone on cameras not great

Is it one cable, or two cables twisted together?
The other connections in there are crimped spade connectors.
I haven't seen a wire pulled out of a crimped connector that looks like that.
It appears to me that instead of re-crimping a cable, someone has twisted two wires together, as a bit of a bodge - but I could be wrong! :)

....or the cables been pulled out hard, from something that doesn't have detachable connections!

It's just one wire that's not attached, it's strange as wire is quite short so can't go far . The wire that goes into the spade connectors for the oven element is very similar looking and has fell out a couple of times over the years and I've reattached to a new spade connector (it's about 10 years old) but not noticed this wire before could have pulled out of something but not Sue what ?
