overflow

I have HOT water constantly dripping from my overflow pipe outside at the top of the house - cant figure out why as everything seems to be working ok?????

is it from the tanks in the loft ?
if so what tank large or small ?

Hi, Tanks in the loft, yes, It is from the Small, full of Hot water in it - its been doing it a good few months - constant trickle..............

where's the water entering the f/e tank from the vent pipe over the top or the feed pipe in the bottom ?
whats the condition of the water in the tank ie sludge in the bottom etc ?

coming in from pipe at the top. water is brown and murkey.

useally due to a blockeage or restriction around the cold feed/vent where they join the system just before the pump.
run a magnet around that area and see if it sticks.
