Hi I'm using Leyland trade white undercoat for some jobs I,m doing but I,m finding it's becoming stiff as it's getting colder and doesn't flow out like it has been in the warmer weather. I've been told to add a little boiled oil to it which should help but the only oil I know that is boiled is linseed, is that what he mean't?

Just add a touch of white spirit. No need for anything else.

Don't know if you are working inside or out but if you have the facility have two pots on the go and keep one in the warm and swap on a regular basis, You can thin the paint as suggested as well. Keep your supply tin warm as well. (if poss)

Putting it in a bucket of warm water for 10 mins won't do any harm either.

Just don't immerse it! :D
