contractors use it,i find it has good coverage, its much better than b&q's own brand ****e,3 coats to one leyland..never again..lol

There is no vinyl in it so its not very serviceable for wiping down etc. Ideal for ceilings and a first coat on walls or as a mist coat on new plaster.

Thanks fellas. So it's ideally vinyl matt I'm looking for. I once asked in B&Q what the difference was between Matt and Vinyl Matt and they said the vinyl is very slightly "stretchy" and good for new builds that are still settling. No mention of wiping/wahsing. Humm....

The non-vinyl is porous so is used on new plaster that is still drying out.

So it is mostly used in new builds.

It is not very durable but you can paint over it later.

Silk is easier to keep clean.

Why did you choose white? Is it a mortuary?
