Hi. I’ve painted my walls and ceiling white, I used the same paint for both. After the election/ plumber were finished I had a few touch up to do. I used the same can of paint but it’s very obvious where I done the touch up, it looks more yellow than white,
What have I done wrong? Could the paint be gone off?

Depending on how long ago you did the original paint it may one of two reasons.
1/ You haven't stirred the paint thoroughly before applying the second coat.
2/ The original paint has faded/aged.
You may have to re-coat the whole area once it has all dried properly.

PS One other possibility is the fresh plaster over the cable/pipe chases hasn't dried properly before touching up. It may come up better after a second coat. Feather the edges out, (brush over the old paint with lighter strokes and don't stop before lifting the brush away). You should never stop painting with a straight line, always with a feather edge for when you re-start.
