Hi

My fireplace has been rendered in cement. I want install a woodburner. What paint should I be using?

Thanks

My lounge is painted in Dulux Matt and also behind the stove. It's been like that for 4 years and no issues.

I suppose the burning question is, how far will the Stove be from the painted surfaces and what does the manufacturer recommend as a safe distance?

Emulsion is fine, it wont set on fire. It may discolour over time but any paint would to be honest.
