6 months ago some white masonry paint was spilt on clear polycarbonate roof sheets (conservatory) any suggestions on a paint Remover that won't damage the sheets? (the sheets are rather old) thanks

c tec paint remover.

Need to test small area to be sure.

I asked technical and they said yes on plastic but test first.
It may effect colour on something like a black plastic down pipe if left on too long

A handyman tried this and unfortunately it just smeared the paint, though he may not have done it correctly.

How about methoxypropanol PM? Or tamiya polycarbonate paint removal. Seems to work well on RC cars according to youtube demos

Meths will soften waterbased paint. Cellulose thinners will remove it faster but may damage the surface.

I haven't tried either of the products that you mentioned.
