paint remover

Hi,

I had a bash at painting a door with water based satinwood. It looks bad and hasn't taken in places. I need to get it off, i've managed to get some off with a paint scraper, wondering if there is a product that can help me along that will not eat away at paint underneath.

Sandpaper? At a guess I would say you hadn't prepared the door properly in the first place, hence why the paint didn't 'take' to use your words.
