Painting a flush front door with panel mouldings

Hi,

I need some advice on painting a flush front door with panel mouldings.

Normally you would paint with the grain but as the flush door has panels moulded on could I paint it as if it was a panel door to try and create a better panel door effect?

Would this effect the finish?

Would i be better off painting it with the grain in the normal way?
