Painting Coving

Thanks to the many tips on here I have successfully put coving up in my spare room , However does anyone have any good ideas for the following problem. Where the corners have been filled with adhesive and sanded back, because the filler is different density to the coving face it shows through the paint.(Emulsion). Thanks Everyone any ideas welcome. I just saw 'coving' and 'emulsion' and nothing to do with plumbing whatsoever
