Hi Guys,
I just bought really nice bed from Warren Evans that's nicely teak stained. Unfortunately, Warren Evans isn't very economical and since I've spent quite a bit just renovating the flat, I was hoping to spend a little less getting bedside tables matching the color of the bed.
So I came across Tarva pine bedside table in IKEA (see http://i.imgur.com/JF5lBkx.jpg for a picture) and looks like it comes bare with the possibility of painting over.
I was wondering if I can get this and paint/varnish/stain/oil it teak?
Can you please advice?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I have a small can of Rustin's quick drying varnish (all in one stain and & varnish at home and I tried it on a piece of unpainted wood and the results looks promising... But I'm sure for a nice finish, like http://i.imgur.com/4rZ264s.jpg, I would need to take additional steps like oiling?)
