I want to retreat my 7 year old wooden furniture.
I think I made a mistake in treating them 2 years ago by using a stain/varnish type of treatment.
They are left out through winter under cover, but are showing signs of weathering at the table legs at the base and same with chairs, and some other areas.
So now I want to treat em with Teak Oil as this will not not flake or peel.
My problem now is how to remove the existing Stain/Varnish in preparation for the Oil.
Elbow grease with scraper and wire brush or can I use a stripper without discolouring the light shaded wood. ?
Thanks
