We have had an aluminium door / frame manufactured for a job, to start next week.

It was requested that we powder coat this white ... now done and sitting in our store.

All of a sudden, the Client has asked if this can be changed to red

Can you paint over powder coating ?

If so, what is the procedure ?

And what type of paint ?

I know it'll not look too good, but that's what is wanted

thanks :)

How did you apply the powder coating?..hot spray?..

You should be able to re coat using the same stuff.

is this the beautiful stuff you get on kitchen units???

curious if its expensive...

Sorry if this is too late, but you could get the powdercoating firm to rub it down and recoat it in red. We do it all the time where I work.
