Painting polyurethane foam on designer chair

I have some Vitra .03 chairs which are over 10 years old. The seat shell is in polyurethane foam and the original paint has come off along some edges. The seat is flexible.

I tried the manufacturer but I haven't heard back.

Would anyone know of a process to restore the chair with new paint?
