Passenger seat MAT Sensor emulator.. easy to install ?

My 2010 mercedes e350 3.0 v6 failed the MOT this week and one of the things it failed on was when i turn the ignition on it shows a " front left malfunction consult workshop " with an airbag type symbol but goes away once engine has started .

I've ordered this parr as shown on the pic that will aoparently fix rhis issue .. are these quite easy to install ? Tia

Will it not come with instructions?

Have you tried searching for YouTube videos?

I've just read the instruction for the devices and - it is a diagnostic device only, it doesn't fix the issue. It only tells you which item might be faulty. You then need to determine how to fix the issue.
 
Its a device to trick the system into thinking the faulty part is working. Sounds a bit bad, but if all it means is the the passenger side airbag would still deploy even if the seat wasn't occupied it could well be an effective bodge if the proper fix is expensive.

Exactly.. it will wrase the error code but still the airbag will activate when needed
