HI EVERY ONE. I have got an old aluminium patio door track that's had it and needs replacing. I am having difficulity finding a supplier, or any one who could help. It's the type that has a raised track where the rollers of the door sit on. Has any one got any ideas???

the probelm I am having is closing the patio door. Very stiff. The bottom edge of the door frame has dug a grove either side of the track, hens the door frame is riding half on the track, I am having to lift the door to make it slide.

Have you checked the rollers on the bottom of the door?
It seems to me that these need renewing, so a new track will only get damaged again otherwise.
Try you local aluminium window manufacturer.

Right, you will need a flat crow-bar to lift the door up slightly to take the weight off and at the bottom at both end there maybe a rubber grommet to prise off for adjustment of the wheels setting. Normally there are philips screw inside about 1", can't remember if you turn the screw anti-clockwise or clockwise. They needs adjusting time to time.
