Patio run off query

I have a patio that is 20m long x 3m wide. The patio is sloped to run off across the width. Would you expect the run off to be at a consistent level across the length or should one end of the length be lower than the other?
 
I would expect it to fall away from the house for drainage, where does the water go when it rains?

Some pics would help, sideways slope might be unavoidable e.g. different ground/path levels at the side of the house.

As long as it's not pooling anywhere unduly or running against the house there shouldn't be any issue.
