Pilot Light (Part 2)

I have a Stelrad Ideal Excel 'F'.
My girlfriend turned it off last night at the Fused spur.
I have followed the instructions on the casing of the boiler and i cannot get the pilot light to light.
I have just noticed that the unit is sparking but the pilot light still will not light.
HELP PLEASE
