Hi - after being in my house for 5 years, my boiler has given up the ghost and despite following the instructions on the inside door, I cannot get the pilot light to ignite (this is the first time I have had any problems in 5 years). Believe the boiler is probably a good 15 years old and will probably need replacing. Before ringing around, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas? Any help greatfully received. Many thanks, J

Can u see a spark through pilot window when u try 2 ignite it?if u can pilot lite is probably blocked.at this age the igniter could b knackered,in any scenario a rgi is req'd tho,cheap job anyway
