Pint off wall with paper.

Hi.
Some clever person stuck an addisive paper dado rail on the wall and even by soaking the rail with water the paint on the wall came off with the paper.

I now have areas where the paint is missing,and would like to repaint the wall but how do I get rid of these areas of no paint so that the wall will look good.

A heavy grade lining paper is your best bet.
