Planning for sockets in a tv wall

When I built my 4m by 6m garage, I fitted 21 double gang sockets... sometimes less is more.
When I built my workshop, I installed twin sockets spaced 2 feet apart, along the entire back wall of the workbench, then various ones, scattered where they might be needed around the rest of the garage and workshop. What I then found was - I was draping flexes across the workbenches, so I added more sockets on the front edges, on the timbers supporting the front edges of the benches, 'spurred' off the existing wall mounted ones.
