I just had a go at my plasterer for removing some plastic window packers on my new Upvc window/door. What is the correct way to finish them

Assuming they have used concrete screws (self packing) then shouldn't be any problems. Packers are mainly used to hold everything in place while you fix it and until the foam has gone off.
Still better to cut them off flush with a chisel though.
