We are moving home soon with our dog. We are hoping to get the living room plastered and also one of the bedrooms so that we can paint them. Now, we have a dog and we're just wondering will her dog hairs get into the plaster and dry stuck in the walls? Also, how long does plaster generally take to dry if there are heating and a fire in the house?

would it not depend on how much your dog moults?

or better still keep dog out of the room

My plan is to keep the dog out of the room but, if it takes days to dry, will have to consider moving dog out.

By the time the plasterer has finished his work you will be able to let the dog in the room and hairs wont stick, deffo the next day.

If it is skim onto boards you could paint within a few days ok, if it is skim onto browning a week or two should be ok, depending on how deep the browning is.

if the dodg gets into the room the "browing" may be more than the plasterer put up
