Going to attempt my first skim coat and need to know if I have to do anything to screw holes before plastering.

I have PVAed the walls so will this be ok and can I just plaster over the holes?

Thanks :D

Just fill them up with a little bit of plaster before you start plastering. You could just skim straight over them if they're really small, but I would fill them up, leave them a while and then skim. Good luck with your job Bahco, and let's know how you get on. ;)

I was hoping to tile half the wall and paint the top half but this plastering lark isn't easy to get a good finish! :(

Looks like I will be tiling all the way up to the ceiling.

You gotta have patience Bacho, but it's good to practice on a small area of wall. Good luck to ya. ;)
