I'm trying to make good some 152x15mm Melamine Faced Chipboard units which are fine other than some areas where water is rotting parts that do come in contact with water splashes etc.

Was wondering if something similar to 15mm Melamine Faced Chipboard (thickness and white finish) but solid plastic, and can be cut/screwed in same sort of way for this indoor use?.

Bearing in mind that the most frequently water-damaged cabinet is the one below the sink, the solution is that you don't try to make good at all - you disconnect it, remove it and replace it. This is doable, but can be a right pain to do as it may require the plumbing to be disconnected and the sink to be removed. When sink carcasses are installed a good fitter will always sesl all exposed chipbord edges in both the carcass and the worktop with silicone sealant, D4 PVA or even gloss paint - but at least something which is impoervious to water. Too few fitters do this properly in my experience and the carcass can subsequently blow
