Hello

For our new kitchen diner I will be replacing some troublesome 8mm copper microbore with plastic. Concrete floor so the pipe will come from above. I was hoping to use Talon double pipe covers. Is there enough room in the pipe cover to get the pipe down to skirting level in plastic (therefore a single run from the 22mm flow/return) and convert using speedfit or similar hidden under the pipe cover?

In the past I've had issues with getting the pipe straight, but I'm told the modern lie-flat plastic is much better in this regard?

Thanks

No, there's not enough space inside a standard pipe boxing for plastic pipe fittings - you need to use copper if you want to do that, or build a bigger boxing out of plywood
