Hi

Quick question on pipe collars. I have pipes coming out the wall for a bathroom towel radiator, corner valves. Do the pipe collars that you use for floor coverings work ok or is there another type better for on walls?

Are these all plastic or can you get a steel type? Is steel suitable though for a bathroom or just stick with the plastic clip type like these?

Thanks

you do get steel ones , but if you want to fit to existing pipes you need the ones in your link, the only steel ones I have seen, have to be fitted before the pipes are connected

Hi, nothing is fitted yet so covers can still be placed over the pipes, any ideas where you get steel ones, and would the be suitable or subject to rust in a bathroom?

Are the plastic ones best and ok for pipes coming out the walls, I guess a bit of silicone would keep them in place if required

I would go with the plastic ones with chrome coating or whatever finish you want, they just click over, a tiny dob of silicon will hold them in place if they are moving but rarely needed, and as you say the steel ones will rust
