My Father in law has had his bathroom done, the plumber has left the shower pipes that stick of the wall too short for the pipe collars that come with the shower..... also one is longer than the other.

Now he has nothing to go around the pipes so it looks a bit of a mess.

The Pipe collars that come with it are hollow and could be cut but as there chrome it would have to be very neat.

Any ideas? I think one is about 15mm away from the wall and the other is about 18 mm

thanks

my first idea would be to get the plumber to fix it (with him paying any tiling cost as well), he has been paid to do the job properly and clearly hasn't

My thoughts exactly; why did the plumber not fit them as part of the installation  Cutting the collars will never look good, especially if they need to be different thicknesses & unless they are chrome on brass, will corrode very quickly once cut.
