SHOWER MIXER - PIPES TOO SHORT

I have recently fitted a Mira Shower mixer. The hot & cold feed pipes were recessed into the concrete wall and then tiled over.

I have now discovered that I have not left enough pipe work exposed from the wall. The mixer is sat too close to the wall making it impossible to fit the chrome collars supplied with the mixer that should neatly hide the area where the pipe work exits the wall.

Is it possible to get straight copper compression fittings that will extend the pipe work by about an inch. i.e a 22mm female male threaded fitting!

Or any other suggestions how to make the pipe work look tidy.
Thanks

Sounds like a case of remove-the-tile-and-redo-it-properly!!

It was the bit about wanting it to look tidy that decided it :)

Yes, but they're made of brass, not copper.

Can you not just use a 1/2" or 3/4" tap extension or two?
