Can the pipe leading from the pressure release valve on a Alpha CD28C boiler be plastic or must it be copper. Also, is there a law that says what it should be made of.

Thank you. The plastic would melt if the pressure was released. Whats the last 3 words mean please 'but is ncs'

Very unlikely but thats the reason.
And I may be wrong but didnt think anything related to PRVs was covered under gas regs
am pretty sure it is in there, i know by the time i got my unsafe situations book out someone else will have the answer, so am staying sat!!
