Pls help me find a replacement 9v adapter

Wall warts are large plugs. Presumably the original power supply had a standard sized plug.

What are you going to do when appliance testing time comes and the unit is failed for not meeting the required standards?

If it’s a foot peddle to operate eg a dental chair, then it’s not a life saving heart monitor.

The chairs will be due for servicing at some point but not sure if that will have any effect.

As stated in Post #1,
It is used to charge a wireless foot peddle for a clinic.
Hence it is used only to "Charge" a "wireless foot peddle".

From this, it would appear that the "wireless foot peddle" contains a Battery, which needs periodic recharging.

The (vaguely "medical") "appliance" is the "wireless foot peddle".

As far as I can see (from the limited information which has been supplied by ey143 )
when the "wireless foot peddle" is in use,
nothing is connected to the "Mains" - either directly or indirectly.
