I think you know the answer already. This document will enlighten you. It may be slightly out of date now with the introduction of the 17th edition of the wiring regs recently.

From 17th edition of the regs:
701.512.3 Low voltage socket-outlets may be installed, but must be at least 3 m from the zone 1 boundary and protected by a 30 mA RCD.
So I think you can have a 13 amp socket now but you need a big bathroom to comply.
