Hi,
need some advice please.

I have 2 radiators that are warm at the bottom, but not the top.

I have tried to blled the radiators, but no air seems to be coming out from the valve...there is no hissing sound.

Any ideas what the problems could be?

Thx alot for any replies....
Vin

Turn off rad at both valves, undo air vent pip and keep safe. Check hole isnt blocked by using a needle or paper clip. fit air pip, turn valves on and see what happens.

Dont vent with the heating system 'on'. You could pull more air in than you try to take out.

you may also have a lack of water in the system. I am guessing you have a Feed and Expansion tank in the loft (about 1 foot x 1 foot x 2 foot)

have a look and see how deep the water is. If it has mud in the bottom, bale it out and sponge it clean.

It will have a float valve in it, like in a toilet cistern. Push the float down and see if water goes in.

Do the downstairs radiators seem to bleed OK?
