Plumbing in cistern

I am about to plumb in the toilet cistern and would appreciate some photos of a tidy job you've done or other examples. I looked at a braided loop maybe with isolater valve or similar. I want it to look as neat as possible as it will be visible as the door is to the left of toilet. Here is an example of where i am so far i marked a blue dot where the pipe may exit to feed cistern but may put it more central under out the way.

I was thinking something like this but this is £215 from Thomas crapper fark!! (would like it to be brass btw)

If I were to bring it out, (through the wall?), in line with the inlet hole that you have marked, I would bring it out higher up to the cistern so it is less obvious.
Bringing it out central behind the pan means you would need at least 3 elbows. One to go left as it comes out the wall, (I assume you would want to keep it close to the wall?), another elbow to point it forward in line with the hole and a third to turn it upwards to the hole.
You could do the same but instead of coming forward and then up you could go up the wall close to the cistern and then come forward before fitting a fourth elbow just below the entry hole.

Thanks for your thoughts if i was going to put it further away i think i would have considered a braided loop instead of multiple elbows etc.

Personally I don't like flexibles being on show, I think they look a bit naff. Love the ease of fitting them and always try to get them out of sight when I have used them. If pipework has got to be on show I prefer it to look the part.
