I have questions for a project I am doing because I am not very clever and need help in understanding the mechanics of boilers and hope you guys could please help me out:
If a house is fitted with a combi boiler should the non-return valve be connected to the cold mains supply or central heating? Where is the NRV usually found and if it is connected the wrong way around, then is contamination or back flow in the water likely and if so what problems could it cause?
Thanks and are there any images I can find of NRV in place?
