Hi can anyone help me with this question.
My kitchen floor is concrete, with polysterne insultation on top and plywood slabs laid on top. I've got to replace several of the slabs as they have got damp. One person said that they should be replaced with Marine plywood while another says that i can still get away with ordinary ply. But if i choose the ordinary ply will i have to cover it with any sort of damp proofing before putting lino back on. Any help would be gratefully received.

I would use marine ply as it will be less prone to damage from damp and providing you're not buying loads the price isn't much more.

Also make sure ' Exterior ' is stamped on the plywood as they use waterproof glue between laminate lining and okay for outdoors as well.
