we've got one of those pneumatic flush toilet systems in the flat which fot the most part is fine.

however every few months, the air pipe that goes from the flush button to the cistern seems to work its way loose from the rubber sleeve which connects it to the flush vavle system rendering the system unflushable until i empty a cupboard in the adjacent room, remove the shelving and crap the misses has filled the cupboard up with, remove the access panel to reach the cistern where i can re connect the pipe and all goes back to normal. The pipe seems to just be a push fit into the rubber sleeve

This time i was thinking of just gluing the pipe in place so it doesnt just come off again in a month and i have to repeat the process all over.

Any sugestions on the best type of glue to use, something that is semi-permananent just in case i ever need to disconect the pipe from the rubber sleeve in future.

thanks

Glue it on with silicone, but cut the first 15mm off the rubber tubing so that you are using a new section of tubing to be fitted onto the air button.

I have done this many times, it saves call backs!
