Just wondering where an overhead shower should be positioned in a shower. The wife is now looking at a grove shower with a fixed pipe length from the wall. I've done a terrible schematic to show where the showerhead would end up. How far out from the wall should it come or is it a matter of preference?

It's gonna be smack bang in the middle of the shower basically.

Is this normal for offset quadrants? Shower arm length is 500mm

It's where it will be easiest to stand when in the shower, without pushing up against the shower itself/any shelves/the door and surround. In the centre is as good a place as any as long as you won't be touching anything when standing underneath .

Good point. I'm thinking about going for a 1100 X 800 just to take it fractionally more into the larger space. Just have to find a decent one.

Although it's one of those things that I only noticed there isn't really any guidance on.
