Possible boiler noises

Morning all.

Since around Aug time we have been suffering with a very loud odd noise coming from what sound elike mh neigh ours boiler, it sounds something like a loud siren/humming type sound which seems to happen around 3 in the morning and is happening more as it's getting colder. It lasts for a few mins and can be heard all through the house.

Spoken to the neighbour who claim they thought it was from my side but it def isn't, when it's heard I can also hear what sounds like either then running a hot tap or the boiler making a switch on type noise and running, iv looked at my boiler when the noise happens and it's not on so I can only assume it their side. Before I speak with their landlord any ideas what this could be?

Might be the central heating pump.
They can vibrate on start up has they get older
