I've got a loose connection on my boiler, it's the red ignition lead on the PCB, the crimped connection is loose and causing problems, will I be looking at a new lead or will a new crimp fix it?

Why not give crimping a try? To replace the lead will require a RGI to remove the covers, fit a new lead and to test the integrity of the seals afterwards.

Its a carbon fibre suppressor lead.

A good way to make proper contact is to push a dressmaker's pin up the centre and then crimp the connector with the pin making direct contact.
