Hi we have the above Combi at home, its great no probs except for one thing - we have the integral timer installed and once we had worked out how to set the correct time on it we set it to come on at 7pm last night and go off at 10pm, we think that the timer is running slow as the heating did not come on at 7pm more like 7.15am and then it did not go off at 10pm we had to turn it off manually and take it off timed. This morning went in to see what time position it was at around 7.30am and it was at 7am.

does this mean that it is faulty and needs replacing and if we do have to replace is it something that a gas engineer has to do or we can do it ourselves??

Anyone else had probs with the timer?

Looks very similar to our baxi potterton bolier - a main 24. Sounds like timer is dodgy - it is a mechanical type one?

Go to potterton web site and look for similar bolier and there are downloads. A couple of screws and connection to main board. If you can use a screwdriver and remember to swittch off at mains - try yourself.
