Potterton Combi 80 heating problem

When I switch the heating on the boiler seems to fire up as I would expect however after about 20 seconds the flame goes out. The pump is running but there appears to be no hot water coming from the boiler. I have tried bleeding the pump with no success. Any idea on what I should look at?

If left for a while (few days) it sometimes seems to fix itself a little then goes again.

Hot water is fine. I guess it's the diverter that I need to check then. Thanks

Never forget that Potterton / Baxi boilers are only worthy of a skip.

Surely a Hop and a Jump also
