Potterton Combi Locking Out at Night

Hi All,
I've read many posts now on what I think is the same fault that I am experiencing; having spent over £400 so far with a local engineer over Xmas I am now questioning whether I need a new PCB, and if so can I fit it ?
Basically the system locks up at night rather than turning off, which leaves the NEW fan unit running and making quite a noise. It does not appear to do this in the morning though ( although the heating system is on for a shorter period ).
Any help on this woudl be really appreciated because the PCB's seem to cost around £50 and I can really do whithout another £200 bill.

No wonder he is a happy plumber when you have paid him £400 and he has still not fixed the problem.

He must see you are a really gullible person!

When I do repairs on a fixed price basis there is no scope for me to rip off anyone!
