Maths was never one of my strengths - 2008-1988 = 20 years old!
I feel conned. I want my money back. There must be another 10 years in the old girl yet!! I dated old boilers in my younger days that don't look half as good as her!!
Will try your suggestions and see what gives.
The gas valve is the earlier WR one and has 8750 stamped on its backside.
Its getting to the stage now where I have to turn the boiler off for 10 minutes when I get home as it hasn't kicked in. I wait 10 minutes then its all ok again.
Not sure what the implications are but when I turned the central heating off for the summer, the boiler never had any startup issues when heating the water. Any ideas??? Or just lucky???
