I was very pleased with myself this morning. WE had a problem where the heating was not turning off in the evenings and the house got hotter and hotter. Following advice on here I replaced the motorised valve, (just the electrics part. The valve part was replaced about 18 months ago by a heating engineer,so Istill had the electric bit)) and all was well all day. (I was checking the boiler and the motorised valve throughout the day and no probs).
Now I've just checked again and the fan/flue warning light is flashing. I've done the obvious and checked the flue outside. I've tried resetting the boiler a few times to no avail. Is there anything else I can do without taking the cover off, or anything obvious that might have gone wrong.
Any suggestions gratefully apprieciated.
