Hi All,

Hopefully a quick question that you can assist with ... I've just moved and I believe the Prima F40 has been working fine until a couple of days ago.

The other half accidentally switched off the boiler by the Fused Switch and then we had some issues. The boiler would fire up but then switch off after a while (varied between 5 and 15 mins ish). I turned it off, let it cool down and then fired it up with the stat on max and all the rads on max, left it for a couple of hours and now all seems ok, however .... one thing I have noticed is that when it switches off the pilot goes out coming on again to fire the boiler up when the control kicks in.

Is this normal or should the pilot be on all the time? All other boilers I've known the pilot has stayed on all the time. I cant see any info on this in the user guide.

Thanks.
Stu
