Potterton Profile 30e Not Lighting

Ok the boiler is playing up!

We have been finding that the boiler is running but the gas is sometimes not flaming. It can be resolved temporarily by turing it off at the mains adjusting the thermostat and turning back on again!

Oh and the reset switch seems sticky?

Any suggestions please?

Does the fan come on, and stay on, or go on off on off?
Does it make ticking spark ignition noise while it should be lighting?

Reset button should feel "loose"

Fan comes on and stays on.

If it ticks it lights straight away, but no constant ticking.
